To Vanquish the Dragon
The stirring memoir of the courage and strength of Beth Jacob students and the acts of kindness and heroism they performed even while caught between the jaws of the Nazi monster. In the ghettos and in the concentration camps, the fire of Torah and faith burned strong and clear in the hearts of these young martyrs and survivors.

- AmazingI read this novel for a Holocaust book report. I have to say, this is by far, the best Holocaust book I’ve ever read. Mrs. Benisch has wrote it beautifully, and I found myself crying more than 10 times. Written with raw pain and emotion, I sobbed through every loss and cried of joy when she finally got liberated. I learned so much from Mrs. Benisch and her friends, and feel that I now see the world a little differently. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good Holocaust read or report.

- One of the best holocaust 'true stories'Once you start reading this book, you simply cannot put it down! For me this is the hallmark of a really good book. I have tried to buy reasonably priced copies of this book, but to no avail.

It is a more detailed tale of being in the ghettos and in the camps than any other I have read. One feels almost as if one is able to see the scenes with the author.Posted on
