- Inspiring storyFull disclosure -/ I was one of the contributors. Even so, now that it’s published I feel as if I’m reading “Song of a Pure Soul” for the first time. I still can’t get over Aviva’s strength. I don’t wish the test of caring for an ill child on anyone — but few could do what she did. I like that the story is told from so many different perspectives — of course the mom, but also siblings, volunteers, doctors, teachers, rabbis, and friends. You would think this would be a sad story. While there is sadness to it, it’s more a story of how an individual, a family, and a community made a tremendous difference in this world— as well as in the world to come. Great job, Aviva!
