When the new rav of Brisk, Rav Yosef Dov Ber Soloveichik, known as the Beis HaLevi after his renowned three-volume work of responsa, focused his matchless genius on derash and aggadah, the result was the classic sefer, Beis HaLevi, on Bereishis and part of Shemos.
