A Taste of Maharal
The Maharal of Prague revealed the boundless depths of Torah and layers of meaning within every word of our Sages. Yet, while the Maharal’s insights have influenced Jewish thought for almost five centuries, English speakers have until now had limited access to his works.
A Taste of Maharal provides a cross section of ideas and adaptations selected from the Maharal’s extensive writings and is annotated to include the full text of the Maharal’s own words in the original Hebrew.
As the name implies, this sefer offers the English-speaking world a taste of the Maharal’s prodigious teachings — many of which appear here in English for the first time.
Rabbi Doniel Baron is an international Torah educator and a disciple of Rav Moshe Shapira, zt”l, one of the greatest experts in jewish thought in recent generations. Rabbi Baron learned in the Mir Yeshiva and the Jerusalem Kollel. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife and children.
